Benefits of Oats
Rolled Oats are excellent to make both sweet and savory breakfast recipes. They are a gluten-free, highly nutritious whole grain and a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.
These are made from lightly processed oatgroats (one of the most healthy whole grain food). At first the oatgroats are dehusked and steamed, then are rolled into flat flakes under heavy rollers. Finally, these flakes are lightly toasted for firmness and storage purpose.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon Powder
- 1/2 tsp. to 1 tsp. Chia Seeds
- 1 Orange
- Handful of Pomegranate Arils
- 1 tbsp. Pistachio
- Maple Syrup/Honey

In a heavy bottom pan, add rinsed oats and 1 cup of water. Let it boil and then simmer for 5 minutes...

Add cinnamon powder...

Add hot milk and let simmer for another 5 minutes...turn off the heat..

Add chia seeds, orange segments, pomegranate arils, and pistachios...

Our morning breakfast is ready to serve or store (if preparing it for the next morning)...

Add maple syrup as per your preference...
