Broccoli falls under the category of Super Foods. Meaning, it has a high nutritional profile. The vegetable is loaded with dietary fiber, antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin K, and calcium. Ingredients

  • 4 Bread Slices (Oatnut Bread) 🍞 
  • 1 cup Fresh Broccoli 🥦 
  • 1/2 cup to 1 cup Cheddar Cheese 🧀 
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Red Chili Flakes 🌶 
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. White Vinegar 
  • A pinch to 1/4 tsp. Pink Salt 🧂 
  • 1 to 2 tsps. Olive Oil 
Broccoli

Place the broccoli (finely chopped), cheese (grated), pepper, and, vinegar, salt in a bowl. Mix them well.

Top it with bread

Top it with another bread slice. Grease the outer sides of the bread slices with oil. Keep toasting/grilling both sides of the sandwich on low heat, until golden brown.

Note: This is an amazingly easy, healthy, and delicious sandwich. The recipe offers plenty of room for improvisation. I mean the quantity of cheese, chili-flakes, vinegar, salt, everything is up to us. It was really delicious, didn’t even feel like having any ketchup or chutney. Excellent way to feed broccoli to our kids.
