Wheat Flour Cookies 🌾

Homemade cookies, cakes, and other sweets have a number of health benefits over store bought items.

Reason, here we have our own control on everything. The quality, and quantity of flour, sugar, and fat is in our hands.

For example, most of the time I replace the fine flour with the multigrain or wheat flour. White sugar with the organic cane sugar, brown sugar, jaggery, dates, and raisins. Fat with pure ghee, virgin coconut oil, or yogurt etc.

I prefer enriching my recipes with a good amount of fruits, or dry fruits.

Further, we can completely eliminate artificial colors, flavorings, and preservatives from our recipes.

With all the shortcuts and easy recipes, baking doesn’t take as long as we think!

  • 1 cup Wheat Flour

Note: These Wheat Flour Cookies are very easy to create with a few and readily accessible ingredients in our kitchens. To me these cookies taste exactly like our Wheat Flour Laddu. Next time, I plan to replace sugar with the jaggery powder. Make sure to take the cookies out of the oven as soon as their base starts changing color. Reason, the cookies keep cooking even after coming out of the oven. Their color changes significantly.
