Ingredients

  • 1 cup Boiled Chickpeas
  • 2 Persian Cucumbers
  • 2 Tomatoes (firm)
  • 1 Red/White Onion
  • 1 tsp. Oil (for the seasoning of chickpeas)
  • 1/2 inch piece of Ginger
  • 1 clove of Garlic
  • 1 to 2 Green Chili
  • 1/2 to 1 cup Fresh Coriander
  • 1 tsp. Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Red Chili Powder/Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp. Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Garam Masala
  • Salt as per our choice

Turn off the heat...add all salad veggies...add lemon juice...adjust the salt...transfer the whole mix to a bowl..

Combine well (with your favorite dressing) and it’s ready to serve...

Note: This is a very filling & satisfying salad. It can be created directly with the plain boiled chickpeas, or canned chickpeas. For an enriched version, we may top it with the olives, homemade cheese, edible-seeds, roasted cashews or pine nuts.

One Of My Favorite Homemade Salad Dressings (optional) : In a mixing bowl, place the lemon juice, honey, olive-oil, black-pepper, and pink salt. Whisk well and add it to the salad.

Instructions
