- 1 cup Boiled Chickpeas
- 2 Persian Cucumbers
- 2 Tomatoes (firm)
- 1 Red/White Onion
- 1 tsp. Oil (for the seasoning of chickpeas)
- 1/2 inch piece of Ginger
- 1 clove of Garlic
- 1 to 2 Green Chili
- 1/2 to 1 cup Fresh Coriander
- 1 tsp. Roasted Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Red Chili Powder/Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp. Coriander Powder
- 1/4 tsp. Garam Masala
- Salt as per our choice

Veggies for the seasoning of chickpeas..

Veggies to mix with the chickpeas...

Seasoning of chickpeas with oil, ginger, garlic, green chilies, spices, and salt..

Turn off the heat...add all salad veggies...add lemon juice...adjust the salt...transfer the whole mix to a bowl..

Combine well (with your favorite dressing) and it’s ready to serve...

Guilt-free serving of FLAVORFUL CHICKPEA SALAD!
Note: This is a very filling & satisfying salad. It can be created directly with the plain boiled chickpeas, or canned chickpeas. For an enriched version, we may top it with the olives, homemade cheese, edible-seeds, roasted cashews or pine nuts.
