Homemade Sweet N Sour Mango Salsa

No Cinco De Mayo Party Menu completes without a fresh salsa!

Salsa is a variety of sauces used as condiments for tacos and other Mexican and Mexican-American foods, and as dips for tortilla chips. They may be raw or cooked, and are generally served at room temperature.

Usually, salsa is a spicy sauce of chopped tomatoes, onions, and peppers that is commonly served with Mexican food.

Also, a similar sauce made with a main ingredient other than tomatoes is called as a salsa. For example, mango salsa, corn salsa, tomatillo salsa, black beans salsa, strawberry salsa, peach salsa, and pineapple salsa.

The recipe name spells exactly like the popular Salsa music of Latin American origin that has absorbed characteristics of rhythm and blues, jazz, and rock.
